TASK 1: TABLE AND PIE CHARTS - VISITORS TO ASHDOWN MUSEUM

The table shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

The charts reveal information in regards to the number of Ashdown Museum visitors and how satisfied they were in the year before and year after museum refurbishment.

It is clear that the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum changed considerably from 74,000 to 92,000 during the periods before and after refurbishment. As the pie charts show, during the year before the museum was restored, there were 15% of tourists being very satisfied, while that figure increased significantly by twenty percentage points after the time of restoration (35%). Ten percent of visitors – however – were  very dissatisfied through the year before Ashdown was rebuilt; whereas, that percentage was half of that for the year after the reconditioning (5%). Tourists, who felt unsatisfied in the period before the refurbishment, made up 40 percent which was the greatest number in the first pie chart. That figure was repeated in the percentage of visitors (40%) who were satisfied throughout the year after the refurbishment was done.

Overall, there was an improvement in the number of tourists as well as their satisfaction during the period of remodeling. (183 words)
